About RBA CARES

The RBA Ministry Team is establishing a disaster relief and construction ministry, which we are calling RBA CARES. We will primarily seek to serve our local churches and communities. However, we also plan to eventually partner with outside compassion ministries to help better meet the needs of those within and beyond the footprint of our local association.

If you can build things, tear things down, run a chainsaw, clean up a mess, cook a meal, or be a cheerleader to those who can, and if you enjoy serving the Lord by meeting the physical needs of others, this ministry is for you. Even if you don't possess some of the skills listed above, but are a willing learner, this ministry is still for you.

Partners – With whom will we serve?

1. Local Church Partners: We will work alongside our fellow RBA churches.
2. A Sister Association: We will partner with the Disaster Relief Ministry of Harmony-Pittsburg Baptist Association until we can establish our own Texans on Mission unit.
3. An Established Disaster Relief Ministry: We will affiliate with Texans on Mission.

Plan – What is our vision for the development of this ministry?

1. We will begin by taking on local projects and responding to emergency situations in our communities.
2. At the same time, we will partner with a similar ministry near us and serve within their infrastructure.
3. Eventually, we intend to affiliate directly with Texans on Mission. 

Purpose – Why should we do it?

1. Evangelistic Outreach: Our primary goal is to share Jesus with those who don't know him.
2. Church Planting and Revitalization: Meeting physical needs goes hand-in-hand with providing spiritual guidance.
3. Associational Ministry: We will serve and support other RBA ministries.
